Funded by the EIT’s Higher Education Initiative and hosted by Climate-KIC, CinnovatE bridges academia, research, and industry to help students turn circular economy ideas into real-world prototypes and market-ready ventures.

Planning has been lodged for the retrofit and extension of Wickenden Manor, a turn of the century building within the Sussex hills used as a place of gathering and retreat. The project seeks to equip the conference centre with the systems and infrastructure necessary for self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability—both in energy performance and operational costs—while preserving the integrity and visual harmony of the buildings and their setting.
