Spaces to work, spaces to study, spaces to play
When the weather permits, most people prefer being outdoors rather than indoors. In our commercial, educational, and cultural projects, we seek to connect internal and external environments by prioritising passive strategies such as daylight, sunlight, and fresh air, and, where possible, integrating natural ecosystems and landscaping.
Houses extended, contracted and reconfigured
Existing houses often don’t work: they can be too small, too draughty, too dark. Yet there are usually elements that do work — sunlight that falls beautifully in a particular spot, materials rich with the patina of age, or quirks that make the space unique. Our aim is to balance the ambition to transform these spaces with a deep respect for what already exists.
