Developing the requirement of the brief to develop the design should consider occupants of all ages and life-styles, the proposal examined how the built morphology could ensure sunlight availability to all apartments according to specific occupancy patterns. This strategy provides significant benefits in terms of amenity and energy, with passive solar design playing an important role in in the environmental performance of individual apartments.

We are delighted to complete the new community centre for the Marylebone Bangladesh Society. The facility plays a key role in improving community facilities in the Church Street Community. A-Zero worked closely with MBS to develop the complex brief comprising gym, teaching facilities, study spaces and a large general amenity space. Working within the very limiting dimensions of the existing space, a new stepped mezzanine was constructed, allowing simultaneous use of the facilities by different community groups, and supervision of all activities from a central location.
