This week, Gile was invited to give a presentation in Kingston University at the Net Zero Carbon: Architecture and Landscape for Climate Emergency Summer School. It was a pleasure to meet the attendees and discuss environmental design both in the context of our work in A-Zero Architects and in their home countries including Egypt, Lebanon, and Saudi. Wishing them the best for their two weeks in London.
Our Quarry House was featured in this months Architecture Today magazine, as a part of the Schueco Excellence Awards, in which we were winners in two categories. Other awards to practices including Niall McLaughlin architects, Squire and partners, and Richie studio amongst others.

Delighted to receive two awards for our Quarry House in this year’s Schüco Excellence Awards, run in conjunction with Architecture Today. We won in the categories of Individual House and Sustainable Building. Well done to everybody who worked on this challenging project – Phillip, Ross, Sho, Mizue, and of course @aumaxum_ltd who provided the windows.
